After growing up on the Central Coast of California, I moved to Portland, Oregon for college and graduate school. I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Lewis & Clark College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University in Portland. I married to my college sweetheart, and in 2008 we moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he attended graduate school and I taught math at Highland High School. While we were in Utah, our daughter was born. We moved to Tennessee the summer of 2013 and shortly after, with the birth of our son, we became a family of four. While I've loved being home with my two children, I've missed the challenge and fun of teaching. I am excited to return to the classroom and to work with the students, parents, and faculty of GHS!
